What will we be exploring in this Lab?
We live in a time of mutually reinforcing crises of our ecological, political, economic and societal systems. Increasingly, events are happening that bring unseen collective trauma to the surface and cause new traumatization. We are not immune to this - it enters our personal lives. In our Lab, we work with the innermost circle of relating, the intimate relationship of life partners. We explore how we can consciously create a space that supports us in being with the metacrisis, to hold each other gently in a world that is shaking and find generative responses to its calls.
Who is invited to participate?
We invite couples, in whatever composition, who have a long-term commitment to each other and who are meeting in themselves and in their relational space the turbulence and confusion of the world today. They share a deep concern about what the future holds for the children of our generation, and for the generations to come.Because intimacy is an essential part of our Lab, we limit it to ten couples. We welcome diversity in geography, ethnicity and relationship composition.
More about the journey of the Lab
We start with growing relational coherence as a group. An important part is growing our own resourcefulness and being a resource for each other. We then deepen our awareness about how the metacrisis is reaching us, as well as not reaching us. Meeting resonance and dissonance, we learn to grow our relationship into a conscious, alchemical space. We share principles and practices to support this.As we deepen intimacy with the world, consciously meeting it, we deepen intimacy with each other. Our relationship becomes an island of coherence with the potential to be a resource for the world.
When will we be meeting?
The heart of our Lab will be a 3,5-day in-person retreat, from May 31st to June 4th. We will gather at the end of the afternoon on the 31st and say goodbye after breakfast on the 4th.
