SUMMARY:Magical Moments in Facilitation – Moving towards Resilience
DESCRIPTION:Sometimes when we facilitate groups\, there are moments where the energy becomes freed up\, relationships heal\, moments of insight dawn\, and we experience a sense of magic. The good news is that there is a process that supports that. Practising presence\, clarifying intention and modelling conscious vulnerability as facilitators will help manifest the group coherence in which such experiences are more likely to occur. \nIn this call\, we will explore Bill O’Brien’s reflection that “the success of an intervention depends on the interior condition of the intervener” and Thomas Huebl’s suggestion that facilitation can be experienced as “a dialogue with the higher organising principle of the group.” \nWe will also be previewing Phase 2 of the Resilience Program which focuses on facilitation. \nIn this community call\, we will explore: \n\nHow our inner state shapes our outer experience\nThe conditions that invite group coherence\nFacilitation skills that will unfold more deeply in Phase 2 of the Resilience Program

SUMMARY:The Water We Swim In – Unconscious Privilege & Multicultural Societies
DESCRIPTION:What does origin mean in a diverse society?\nWho experiences belonging as something natural and who has to continually negotiate it? \nMigration transforms societies not only through the people who arrive\, but through the questions that become visible in the process: Who is considered to “belong”? Which stories about home shape how we live together? And which social norms and privileges remain invisible to those who already experience belonging as something given? \nDrawing on perspectives from anti-racism\, social learning and collective transformation\, Tupoka Ogette will open a space to reflect on cultural conditioning\, unconscious privilege\, and taken-for-granted social realities that shape how we perceive migration\, diversity\, and belonging. \nTogether\, we’ll \n\ndeepen our capacity to recognize unconscious privilege in everyday life\nStrengthen our reflection on how inclusive and welcoming societies can be actively shaped\nInquire into the conditions that make mutual recognition\, dignity and participation possible.\n\nThis event is for anyone interested in building a truly resilient and thriving society. \nThe recording of this event will be shared after the event. If you aren’t able to join live\, you can still watch the recording. Make sure to sign up in order to receive the recording afterwards.

SUMMARY:From the Epstein Files to Inside the Manosphere – Tending to Fractured Gender Relations
DESCRIPTION:We are living in a time when a new upsurge in systemic oppression\, silencing and violence toward the feminine has become impossible to ignore. The Epstein Files\, the activities of misogynistic influencers featured in the ‘Inside the Manosphere’ documentary\, and the CNN investigation into the ‘Motherless’ online platform where men shared pornographic videos of partners and wives\, have opened new windows into the extent and depth of gender-based perpetration\, complicity and wounding alive in today’s world. A lack of justice and accountability have compounded the harms. \nOur intention in this Global Social Witnessing Call is to explore our experience as we begin to face this landscape to the extent that each of us finds possible. By growing our collective capacity for witnessing together and recognising where we need to turn away in the face of what might be triggered in us\, we can begin to prepare a shared ground that women\, men and people of all genders need to address these realities together. \nIn this call we will explore: \n\nThe impact the above revelations have had and are having on all of us\nHow we can resource ourselves to meet these impacts\nHow we might bring our witnessing capacity to sense into the deeper roots of what we are experiencing\n\nOnly by first acknowledging the harm that has been done can we begin authentic work of reconciliation\, restoration and repair. Please know that the content of this call may be upsetting and make a conscious choice on whether this is the right time for you to join.
