SUMMARY:Hearing the Voice of Ukrainian Youth – Empowering Streams of Community Resilience
DESCRIPTION:This call invites us to listen deeply to the lived experiences of young Ukrainians navigating the profound transition from adolescence to adulthood amidst the upheaval of war. Just as their country undergoes a transformation\, these young people are shaping their identities\, discovering their values\, and seeking belonging in the face of uncertainty\, instability and unsafety. At the heart of this initiative lies the power of community: peer-led Resilience Circles where young people support one another\, explore trauma-informed practices\, and learn facilitation skills to guide conversations that empower. The Pocket Project’s work in Ukraine has shown that peer circles can be as impactful as traditional therapy\, fostering a sense of belonging\, resilience\, and hope. Your presence strengthens the connections—nurturing the next generation of resilient\, compassionate leaders in Ukraine. \nIn this call\, we will explore: \n\nYouth resilience and identity in times of transition\nPeer-led resilience circles as pathways to healing\nBelonging\, healing\, and growth within community

SUMMARY:Coming Home to Being Jewish
DESCRIPTION:Creating a warm and safe space for the presencing and integration of the individual\, ancestral and collective trauma and resilience of being Jewish. \nWe will meet monthly with people who identify as having Jewish ancestry\, to explore aspects of our Jewish experience including: the presencing of our individual\, ancestral and collective trauma; the challenges of the current situation in the Middle East; aspects of both Jewish persecution and perpetration; internalised anti-semitism and whatever themes and experiences group participants bring to the call. \nOur intention is to create a warm\, welcoming and safe space in which such topics and experiences can be felt\, held within a field of group coherence and resonance\, and in this way to support our individual and collective capacity to reflect\, digest and integrate what arises. \n

SUMMARY:Centering Self - Meeting the Heat of the World without Losing Yourself
DESCRIPTION:In a world that feels increasingly charged with conflict\, injustice\, and uncertainty\, it can be easy to lose touch with our center. How do we meet the intensity of these times without becoming overwhelmed or disconnected from ourselves? This community call invites us to explore the intersection of personal resilience and systemic transformation. \nTogether we will reflect on how trauma – both personal and systemic\, shapes our responses\, and how culturally responsive\, healing-centered practices can help us stay rooted in strength\, compassion\, and clarity\, and transform oppressive structures into living networks of repair. By learning to navigate stress and reactivity with awareness\, we open space for greater intimacy\, repair\, and justice in our relationships and our communities. \nThis gathering is an opportunity to pause\, breathe\, and discover practices that sustain our own well-being\, while honoring how each of our stories has the potential to shape the systems we are a part of into pathways of equity\, care\, and belonging. \nIn this community call\, we will explore: \n\nHow to stay centered when facing collective stress\, conflict\, or injustice.\nPractices that cultivate resilience and prevent overwhelm or burnout.\nWays to align personal healing with community well-being and systemic change.\n\n
