Our breath is the silent and ever-present guardian of our inner world. In times of challenge and chaos, our breath is our most immediate lifeline and bridge from turmoil to inner balance and calm. How can we increase our awareness in such a profound way that we transform our breathing into a self-regulation habit? Join us to learn and practice with one of the world’s experts in bringing breathwork to warzones and crisis areas.



Laurie Ellis-Young is impassioned with sharing breath as a healing and empowering modality. Beginning yoga practice at age 14, she learned early that yoga changes bodies; breath changes lives. A teacher of yoga and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), global peace ambassador and author, she has worked with populations as diverse as students of all ages, girls rescued from brothels in Cambodia, UN personnel in Kosovo, OSCE staff in Ukraine, and numerous NGO’s.
