The war in Ukraine began in February 2022. Since then the existential threat to life in Ukraine has intensified. In the midst of war, how can life continue to be celebrated, how can resilience be cultivated, how can communities provide a structure of support?
In this call, we heard from Therapists, Resilience Circle Facilitators and Trauma-Informed Leadership Alumni of the Ukraine Trauma Relief Project about their experiences, and we allowed our hearts and compassion to become nourishment for our Ukrainian community.
This event was hosted by:
Daria Yemets, Ukraine Trauma Relief Project Manager, is 25 years old, lives in Kyiv, Ukraine and is a psychologist, breath work and mindfulness instructor and researcher of collective post-traumatic growth and intergenerational resilience in Ukraine.
Oksana Ruda, Ukraine Trauma Relief Strategic Advisor, is a PhD, psychologist and author with a high level of expertise in psychology, education and social change.
