Holding Space for Change: How We Heal Together

We’re living through times of rapid change and uncertainty, and the essence of healing lies in our shared capacity to hold space for ourselves, for each other, and the world. This communal approach to healing is at the heart of the Pocket Project’s mission, building strength together through shared awareness and kind action.

Embracing Collective Healing

The concept of collective trauma refers to the psychological impact shared by groups of people due to large-scale events, such as wars, natural disasters, or systemic injustices. Understanding and addressing this form of trauma is crucial for societal healing. Our Collective Trauma Research Glossary offers insights into key terms and concepts that underpin this work.

Global Social Witnessing Facilitator Training 2025

To deepen our collective capacity for healing, the Pocket Project is offering the Global Social Witnessing (GSW) Facilitator Training 2025. This program invites participants to engage with global events through embodied awareness, promoting a culture of conscious global citizenship.

Recognizing the importance of diverse perspectives in this work, we are offering scholarships covering 75%, 50%, and 25% of the training cost. These scholarships aim to support individuals from crisis areas, members of the Global Majority, and indigenous leaders. Our scholarship selection process is guided by a commitment to gender balance and to honoring diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
