What will we be exploring in this Lab?
The US economic system has a particular ‘flavor’ arising from its unique backstory. This flavor of capitalism, both in the US and beyond, lives in us in unique ways. How we interact with money can illuminate how the system lives in us. Our inner world shapes the systems we create and those systems in turn shape our inner world. We offer a lab to explore the conscious and unconscious material that manifests in our relationship to money. Through embodied inquiry and reflection, we’ll surface awareness of how collective trauma shows up in us.
Who is invited to participate?
We invite anyone who wants to focus on the impact of the US economic system and feels like there’s something to look at in their own relationship to money, but hasn’t known where and how to explore that.
More about the journey of the Lab
Through orientation and grounding we will develop the internal resources to assist our journey. We’ll also build a shared vocabulary and practices to support the depth of our exploration. This capacity building will allow us to build coherence in the field. Our inquiries will look at specific dimensions of money in the individual, ancestral and collective fields, including but not limited to safety and security, abundance and scarcity, work and success, loss, sufficiency and worth, giving and receiving.
