What will we be exploring in this Lab?
Collective trauma, born from the wounds of gender violence, deeply and powerfully shapes how we relate to ourselves and to one another. It influences our identities, our sense of safety, and our ability to speak and embody our truth. In this lab we are creating and nurturing a space for women to reclaim earth wisdom, ancestral memory, and the vital life force of our sacred female rage—a pathway to embodying our wholeness, reclaiming our voice, and restoring right relational stance with each other and with all beings.
Who is invited to participate?
We welcome people who identify as women and who feel called to explore their relationship with anger, their voice, power, silence, and the impacts of the collective trauma of gendered conditioning. Our aim is clarity without gatekeeping: our social locations are cisgender and racialized as white. We welcome women who resonate with this arc of inquiry and want to explore with us, whether you are cisgender, trans, nonbinary, or whatever your racial identity. As our focus potentially involves intense emotional energies, we recommend participants cultivate adequate resourcing and regulation.
More about the journey of the Lab
This lab unfolds as a guided, emergent and embodied journey. We will explore personal and ancestral aspects of womanhood through our lived, embodied experience. We’ll sense into somatic, emotional, and subtle rhythms within and between us. Through relational practice, meditation, earth connection, contemplation, creative expression, and spirituality, we cultivate our capacity to integrate anger, rage and grief as we feel our love and hold our compassion. Our intention is to cultivate our embodied voices saturated by all of life’s energies, including previously exiled ones.
