What will we be exploring in this Lab?
Anchored in deep, generous Land, this lab invites us to sit with the collective trauma (CT) embedded in place— the unresolved fragments lingering from conflict, violence, and disasters. These imprints can create injurious patterns that echo the very hurts that they are the remnants of, shaping what comes after. Not limited to humanity, these imprints include the Land itself and all beings with whom we dwell. With humility, we “listen without the expectation of being told.” We remember as Land, meeting and embodying these fragments with presence, respect, and care.
Who is invited to participate?
This lab invites those who feel called by the Land—those who feel aligned and ready to unpack with the Land and as Land what is ripe, what wants to be heard, felt, embodied, and transmuted. It is for those drawn to sites holding collective traumas too big for us as individuals, yet are able to be met in a titrated way by a coherent, resonant community. As this collective body—with precision—we become the needle in the Land’s stagnant acupuncture points, restoring vitality and connection.
More about the journey of the Lab
This journey begins with the Lunar New Year, and proceeds in rhythm with the natural cycles of the northern hemisphere. Starting with reflection, awakening and orientation phases, continuing through the germination, growth, fruition, harvest phases, and finishing again in reflection. In addition to our eight regular meetings, there will be two 6-hour intensives— one in our germination phase and one in our harvest phase. To support what comes up in our regular meetings, triads will meet regularly to deepen the work and support one another in our shared growth.
