Unleashing the Suppressed Voice of the Feminine

Expressing Desires, Needs, and Boundaries in Female bodies

Hybrid | English

What will we be exploring in this Lab?

This lab is an embodied exploration of voice, desire, and boundaries. We will grow our awareness of how ancestral patterns, family dynamics, cultural expectations, and societal pressures have influenced our relationship to desire and authentic expression. We will uncover and liberate patterns of appeasing, shrinking, numbing, avoiding conflict or suppressing our needs - and how that distorts or silences our voice. Together, we will investigate how our ability to ask for what we want, set clear limits, and speak from the truth of our bodies has been has been shaped by gender conditioning. For this lab, there will be an additional cost—with a suggested donation of $200—to cover the cost of the venue. This will be collected in person at the retreat.

Who is invited to participate?

Inviting female-bodied and AFAB participants.

More about the journey of the Lab

During our time together we will practice naming what we want—and what we don’t—we will strengthen our capacity for building authentic relationships, reclaiming agency in shaping our lives, and expanding our ability to influence change in our communities. While this lab focuses on the shaping of female-bodied and AFAB people, we will work through an intersectional lens that acknowledges the profound impacts of race, class, culture, sexual orientation, religion, and lineage on how each of us has learned (or been denied permission) to embody desire, set boundaries, and express our truth.
