A meaningful inquiry at this point demands a fresh way of seeing, an openness to entirely new ideas, and a depth of global conversation that we have never experienced before.

The summit unfolds through 3 pathways:

As we witness the climate unravel, we are invited to ground ourselves and kindle a new sense of agency.

By learning from nature’s patterns, we can design governance systems to mobilise collective action.

With so many of our social, economic and political systems built on unresolved trauma, we explore the role of collective healing in unlocking systemic change to metabolise our experiences, we can chart paths to wiser action.
The Climate Consciousness Summit 2025
will be a space to:

Bear collective witness to the destruction unfolding around the world as what had once seemed like viable solution pathways crumble.

Reveal the intimate connections between the climate crisis and the underlying dynamics perpetuating genocide, wars, colonialism, racism, and other forms of violence.

Address the role of individual, inter-generational and collective trauma at the root of the climate crisis and explore how to retrieve pearls of wisdom from our past.

Provide a platform for earth wisdom, Indigenous worldviews, and those inspiring us with regenerative solutions.

Celebrate the powerful capacity of post-traumatic growth to unleash novel collaborations and seemingly miraculous systems change.

7 PRACTICES FOR PERSONAL
BALANCE & AGENCY
«Embodiment is the foundation for healing. Without embodiment, we have no instrument to receive the world and to ground the energy of anxiety, fear and trauma. Our body is the instrument that allows the energy to return and become fertile soil for the future»
Kosha Joubert, CEO Pocket Project
7 INSPIRATIONS FROM THE NATURAL
WORLD FOR HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS
TRANSFORMATION
«As we disconnect from the feedback loops of life, we borrow from our future to sustain the present. The depletion of our planet mirrors the depletion of our inner world, driven by unintegrated trauma. To truly address the climate crisis, we must heal the trauma within ourselves. The environment is not something ‘out there’—it is a reflection of our own internal state»
Thomas Hübl, Founder Pocket Project

Climate change is a systemic problem with geophysical, technological, economic, political, and ethical dimensions, among others. The in-depth exploration of our climate crisis from a mental-health perspective, offered in this book, will be an important contribution to an urgently needed dialogue.
