COMMUNITY Of Practice
A Space of Relatedness & Shared Learning
Shared learning in community is part of a healthy way of living. Our relations are an essential part of who we are – I am because you are. The Pocket Project is committed to offering opportunities for us to relate and practice our tools and the ‘superpowers’ to meet life more fully together. Our presence, relatedness and compassion are needed to activate the healthy response mechanisms of our global immune system.
Our world is rapidly changing, and we are called to remember and practice skills that help us to navigate complexity with resilience and joy. In these calls, we practice mindfulness, meditation, presence, resourcing, self-care, self-regulation, relating, co-regulation, co-creativity and how to cultivate coherent we-spaces – amongst other important medicines for our time. These calls are a gift from Pocket Project facilitators, welcoming everyone – and also, over time, building a shared we-space of increased synchronisation and resonance.
In 2024, we are bringing to you a continuous journey of Community Calls – together they constitute a ‘Training in basic skills for Presence and Relatedness’.
Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It’s a relationship between equals. Only when we know our darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognise our shared humanity.
