HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT US

The Pocket Project is at the forefront of a profound paradigm shift towards collective healing. Our programs are dedicated to fostering a global movement of transformation and collective restoration. In this pivotal moment, we recognize that individual healing is inseparable from collective healing and both are necessary to address the great challenges of our times.

FRIENDS OF THE POCKET PROJECT

Have you been touched by our work to spread trauma-informed care and compassion? Do you feel called to become an actively contributing member of our community? The Friends of the Pocket Project is a growing circle (currently 85+) that helps to resource our work with monthly contributions, big or small or larger annual donations, thus elevating our global impact. This circle is offered privileged access to certain materials – at the moment the Self-Study Trauma-Informed Leadership Course (from 35$/month).

GIVING TUESDAY IS A MOVEMENT THAT TRANSCENDS BORDERS

Its primary goal is to promote generosity and philanthropy worldwide on November 28, 2023. We are calling our community members to pause and give if you feel called. You do not have to be a philanthropist to support a global community of trauma-informed care. Your donation, irrespective of size, is a catalyst for impact. Together, let’s forge a future defined by compassion and change. This year, we addressed the following themes and more: Refugee Crisis, Systemic Oppression, Climate Crisis, War and Conflict, Women’s Rights, Legacy of Slavery, Anti-Semitism, Earthquake Response. With your donation, you can specify your wish for further topics and themes.

the Pocket Project - GENERAL

Your donation enables our projects to flourish wherever it is most needed. By helping to spread trauma-informed care, you become part of the global healing movement. Together, we integrate the wounds of the past, increase resilience in the present and prevent further traumatisation, thus helping to shift humanity towards a path of creativity and possibility.

CLIMATE CONSCIOUSNESS SUMMIT

Your donation allows our upcoming summit to reach all corners of the globe with free insights, tools and practices for trauma-informed climate action. With your help we can continue to reach a wider audience, offer summit packages at a reduced price AND plant a forest! Your contribution helps us to raise awareness, restore our collective sensitivity and increase our flow of co-creative action.

GLOBAL TRAUMA RELIEF PROJECT

The current conflict in the Middle East is awakening existential fear, acute grief and deep despair. Many are in a state of deep shock and in need of trauma first aid. Our mission is to create safe, supportive and healing spaces for all those affected by trauma, regardless of their background or nationality. We acknowledge that the levels of acute pain and trauma are so intense that two distinct projects are needed, one for Israelis and one for Palestinians, and are initiating both.

TRAUMA RELIEF PROJECT UKRAINE

Your donation directly funds psychosocial support and trauma-informed expertise in high-trauma situations. We continue to provide free 1:1 and group sessions, and training, including training on trauma-informed leadership and care. We’ve made a significant impact: for every 10 Ukrainian therapists trained, hundreds of trauma sufferers have found help. More than 20,000 individuals have directly benefited so far.

YOUR PASSION

Do you have a passion for a specific thematic or geographic area of collective trauma integration? Or an idea for how to spread trauma-informed care in a more impactful way? Together, we are helping to shift humanity towards a path of trauma-informed care.

Reach out to us at info@pocketproject.org and we will work with you to make it possible. Thank you for bringing your dreams to the Pocket Project!

What makes us different from other organisations is that at Pocket Project, we put the money to work without unnecessary bureaucratic costs. We are available to people promptly when there is an acute and urgent need.
Viktoria L., Psychologist, Ukraine
I would like to thank everyone for this wonderful project… I have found more answers and felt that I have a higher level of energy and recovery. It helped me to find new experiences, raise awareness and gain new tools for healing on all levels… I integrated new tools and knowledge into my experience and use them in my work. I am grateful to the presenters, translator and project organisers for their high level and openness. Now I am helping refugees using the tools from the training. I just want to say: you are all wonderful! Thank you!
Nailia Minnebaeva, Marketing Consultant, Canada
The trauma-informed leadership course was by far one of the best professional and personal development choices. I have found resources that led to resilience and compassion during a time of immense change and transition. I was moved by the course facilitators, and how powerful and supportive the group field was even though it was only a Zoom conference. This level of kindness, sensibility and wisdom reminded me that my needs are beautiful and I am inherently worthy.
Katherine E. Poco-Enders, Facilitator, The USA
I feel as though the Pocket Project is like a telescope for ancestral, collective, and individual trauma. We are able to share, digest, and integrate that which we cannot necessarily do on our own. We were never meant to do this work alone. My ancestors survived genocide. My father survived residential school. The Pocket Project provides a safe space for people like me and for people like you to be witnessed.
Noah Joubert, Technical Manager, Spain
I believe that in personal experiences, family dynamics, community structures, and global networks unintegrated trauma so often lies at the heart of conflict and confusion. Working to integrate our collective and personal trauma and make whole that which is dispersed, is what motivates me.

When we embed ourselves into what brings us forth, then we experience ourselves as the body of the planet and can act from there.

We cannot do this without your support. Your generosity allows us to express our shared care for the world together.
