What is the CAS-CTIP?

The CAS-CTIP is a structured, multi-year academic certification designed for practitioners working with collective, historical, and transgenerational trauma.

it brings together a series of in-depth training programs, including those offered by the Pocket Project, into a coherent academic framework that integrates:

  • Personal and relational trauma integration
  • Collective and systemic trauma understanding
  • Facilitation and leadership capacities
  • Applied practice with supervision
  • Academic reflection and research

Participants can engage in individual programs independently, or choose to enroll in the CAS pathway to receive European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits and a formal university certificate.

How the Resilience Program Connects

The Resilience Program: Trauma-Informed Leadership for Societal Resilience is recognized as part of this broader learning journey.

Specifically, it aligns with the CAS-CTIP curriculum as an optional module focused on trauma-informed leadership and societal resilience.

This means:

  • You may take the Resilience Program as a standalone professional training, or
  • You may choose to apply it toward the CAS-CTIP certification pathway by completing additional academic requirements

This flexible structure allows you to engage at the depth that is most relevant to your personal and professional context.

How the Global Social Witnessing Training Connects

The Global Social Witnessing Facilitator Training is recognized as part of this broader learning journey.

Specifically, it aligns with the CAS-CTIP curriculum as an optional pathway focused on facilitation, systems sensing, and working with collective fields.

This means:

You may take the Global Social Witnessing training as a standalone professional training, or

You may choose to apply it toward the CAS-CTIP certification pathway by completing additional academic requirements

This flexible structure allows you to engage at the depth that is most relevant to your personal and professional context.

Program Structure Overview

The CAS-CTIP pathway is composed of several modules that integrate experiential learning

with academic study:

  • Personal Development & Trauma Integration
  • Transpersonal Studies (e.g., mindfulness, contemplative practice)
  • Collective Trauma Facilitation Training
  • Supervised Internship
  • Trauma-Informed Leadership & Societal Resilience (includes the optional Resilience Program)
  • Global Social Witnessing Facilitation Training (optional)
  • Introduction to Traumatology (optional)

Participants complete a combination of training programs and academic assignments such as essays, project reports, and applied practice documentation.

Upon completion, participants receive:

  • Individual module certificates, and
  • A final CAS-CTIP Certificate (30 ECTS credits) upon fulfilling all core requirements
