The Voiceless Child Lab – Global

The Collective Dimension of Losing our Voice

Online | English

What will we be exploring in this Lab?

We will explore how voice is suppressed by collective, ancestral and individual trauma; how early experiences of silencing in the family system shape our inner world, our relationships and our place in community. Imagine a child who was not seen and heard, and learned early on that speaking up brings anger, disconnection, and/or violence. Over time, our voices fold inward to be held in the body - an ache in the chest, a loneliness inside. The authentic self retreats into the shadows. We will explore our lost voices by witnessing the space between what was never said and is now ready to emerge.

Who is invited to participate?

We invite all who want to speak more authentically and explore feeling safe enough to express ourselves. We welcome anyone who has experienced early childhood, ancestral and collective trauma of voice suppression and muteness, and is curious and ready to develop inner resources to explore and be with this tender part of themselves in a supportive group setting.

More about the journey of the Lab

We will begin by establishing a grounded and resourced group field, using foundational practices that support safety, presence, and connection. Together we will cultivate both individual and collective cohesion as we gently attune to the ways our capacity for expression has been shaped by childhood experiences, ancestral imprints, and collective trauma. Through embodied practices, shared inquiry, and compassionate witnessing, we will explore how these patterns silence or distort our voices, and how reclaiming expression becomes a pathway toward healing, authenticity, and belonging.

When will we be meeting?

We will meet on Mondays at 5 pm PT and we ask that participants commit to attending all of the main sessions and at least four integration sessions. Main sessions: February 23 / March 16 / April 6 / May 4 / June 1 / July 6 / August 3 / September 14 / October 5 / November 2 / December 7  – Integration Sessions: April 20 / May 18 / June 15 / July 20 / August 17 / September 28 / October 19 / November 16 / December 21
